Human Interaction¶
Speaking with people and being spoken to — the part of the platform that has a face.
A transport robot that says nothing is a moving cabinet. The interaction capability is what makes a machine in a corridor understandable to the person standing in front of it, whether that is a humanoid holding a conversation or a robot explaining why it has stopped.
What belongs to this capability¶
The uMe humanoid and its gateway; voice input and language models; the persona — name, languages, context, greeting, and the rules of what the robot may and may not say.
This capability is the least integrated one today, and deliberately so: it is also the one where a wrong answer does the most damage.
Sections still in preparation
The pages below this one are being written. Each says where its material lives today and which stage it is planned for. See Integration Status for what is reachable through the platform right now.
