u-IoT — Documents¶
The u-IoT module is URG's own building hardware for everything a building has that is not a robot: call buttons, lights, sound, potential-free contacts, door and lift signals. The door-opener form of the module is called uGate; the call button runs over u-IoT.
Status as of 12.09.2026.
Current documents¶
Version 1.0, in all six languages of the language policy. Both documents apply to all nine order codes (UIOT-B, -BL, -BS, -BLS, -L, -S, -LS, -D, -X).

Dutch was added on 11.09.2026 from the released English versions, with the same generator and layout and the same version number.
New on 12.09.2026: the service description uGate Door Control 1.0 in all six languages — what URG supplies for door control with the build forms uGate (UIOT-D) and robot bridge (UIOT-X), what the operator provides, the sequence of a door passage, the limits and the acceptance. It is a customer document for offers and tenders; see Integrations. Nothing under the language policy is outstanding for u-IoT.
Both documents mark what is not yet finally settled as to follow rather than estimating it — dimensions, weight and degree of protection per build form, ambient conditions, the CE marking of the box, the firmware version released for delivery. Those lines are filled in the next version.
Superseded¶
- The draft 0.1 of August 2026 is superseded in full by version 1.0.
- The earlier "call-me button" sheets are superseded: the call button is a build form of the u-IoT (order codes UIOT-B, -BL, -BS, -BLS) and is documented in the u-IoT data sheet and user manual. Do not hand out the old sheets.
- Older documents describing door modules of other origin — with different wire colours, a different network name or a different supply range — do not apply to the u-IoT or the uGate. Only the wiring in the u-IoT user manual is binding.
